Scott Bell presents an overview of the Financial Report of the US Government

On July 11, Scott Bell, senior accountant at the US Department of the Treasury, visited the Center to provide an overview of the financial report of the U.S. government. Mr. Bell gave a presentation in which he discussed the state of the nation’s finances, how such assessments are constructed, and projections for the future. The discussion shed light on the unique challenges of financial reporting in government.
