MIT students enjoyed an illuminating fireside chat with GCFP Distinguished Visiting Fellow Daniel Tarullo and Co-Director Jonathan Parker on May 3, 2017. Professor Parker opened the discussion by asking Mr. Tarullo about a significant moment during the darkest days of the financial crisis, and the ensuing conversation covered topics ranging from stress testing to shadow banking. The floor was later opened up for the audience to ask Mr. Tarullo questions directly, and students posed thoughtful questions on operational risk, capital requirements, the future of the Fed, and more.
