On Dec 13, 2014, Dr. Gerald Chan was joined by Professor Deborah Lucas, MFin, MBA and PhD students from MIT as well as Morningside Scholars from across North America to engage in a lively discussion on Socially Responsible Investment.
Dr. Chan, PhD in Radiation Biology from Harvard University, also a successful venture capitalist with more than twenty years of track record, has always integrated the philosophy of jointly maximizing social and financial returns in his real world investment practices. Through Morningside Foundation, which he co-founded, Dr. Chan supports various philanthropic programs with a great emphasis on science, education, and humanity.
